The team of Kultura Medialna NGO includes professional culture managers, curators, artists and activists collaborating since 2013. By the time they started common projects, team members had had long-term personal experience in organizing festivals, concerts, exhibitions and educational programs in Ukraine and beyond.

Over the last 11 years of its fast-paced work Kultura Medialna has created and managed various projects in art and culture, community growth, urban research and civic society support through culture.

The public organization’s activities are aimed at cultural and urban development in the city of Dnipro, with focus on contemporary art, culture, media and growth of public space and city communities.

Kultura Medialna is an independent and non-profit public organization that emerged from a grassroots initiative. Our activities are funded through grants from American, European, and national foundations and organizations.

Kultura Medialna has been supported by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, USAID, the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, The National Endowment for Democracy, the Danish Cultural Institute, Goethe-Institut, the British Council in Ukraine, the Creative Europe Program, the Renaissance Foundation, the Czech Center in Kyiv, and others.

The core objectives of our local and international projects include:
- promote audiovisual, digital and experimental arts
- create and reinforce international cultural cooperation
- support and provide cultural education to the youth and local communities
- contribute to social innovations
- design creative practices in the urban space

Most events are held in Dnipro city, Ukraine.
